"Applied Positive Psychology in Hong Kong 2012" Conference

Welcome Message

The 3^rd Applied Positive Psychology Conference (APPC) in Hong Kong will be held between 5 and 7 January 2012. The mission of the conference is to provide a hub for sharing ideas, knowledge, and skills that are related to positive psychology in Hong Kong. We have witnessed the thriving of positive psychology in Hong Kong in the past decade. More and more practitioners in Hong Kong are applying the principles of positive psychology in their work. We, the organizing committee, consider that it is time for us to make a step forward by inviting colleagues to present local positive psychology projects in the APPC 2012!

Another exciting development this year is that we have invited Dr. Tayyab Rashid to join us and present the keynote speech as well as conduct a workshop on positive psychotherapy during the conference. Dr. Rashid is a well-known expert in positive psychotherapy in the world and in recent years, he has been conducting psychotherapy workshops in America, Canada, and recently in France. Besides being an expert in positive psychology, Dr. Rashid is also a nice person who is very willing to discuss with us regarding ideas and issues related to positive psychology. If you are interested in positive psychology, meeting Dr. Rashid is an opportunity that you will not want to miss.
